Site Builder Features

Once you get started you can decide whether or not you wish to display any of our useful, free built in web site enhancements. After that, you can create as many pages of your own custom content as you need.

Ease of Site Design

Build111 was created so that site design would be extremely easy. However, we also offer the opportunity to step out and be creative for those with knowledge and expertise in web design. The system essentially offers three levels of design method from simple to complex.

• Easy: You select from eight standard color schemes. Then you choose from a standard header image like the one shown in the image of our sample web site on the right, or from our supply of over 60 free stock header images. Lastly, you decide whether to place your navigation on the left, right or top.
• Moderate: You start with one of the standard color schemes to set all the colors for the various elements on the page and then vary the color of each element to suite your requirements. You may also create and upload your own custom header image. When deciding on the navigation position, you may also opt to make the site fill the width of the web browser of the visitor rather than use our predefined width.
• Complex: You use our custom CSS feature to create just about any design you can imagine.

If you don't have the time or expertise, we can create a custom header or a custom CSS site design to your specifications. Our professional staff of designers and programmers are available to assist in any way.

Page Options Available

With Build111 you can add as many pages as you need. To add a page, you just select a page type from a drop list and give your page a name. Then you are ready to add your content. Unlimited pages can be made from any of the following available types:

• Standard Page of text and images with easy editing capability
• News Page is great for news or even for FAQ's
• Gallery Page for photos with optional title and description. Photos can be organized the way you want them.
• RSS Feed for receiving information streamed from other web sites.
• Outside Link for linking to other web sites.
• Interactive Forms with all the form elements you will need including text box, text area, check box, radio button, drop list or even just a comment. Special elements include an email address element and a secure credit card field if you have chosen our e-commerce option.
• File Upload Form for allowing your password approved site visitors to upload and share files on your site.

Free Optional Features

We also offer other page types that include the following free optional features you can turn on or off depending on whether or not you need them:

• Scrolling Text Announcement: Add a scrolling line of announcement that appears at the top of the home page.
• Web Poll: Add a web poll where you can decide what question to ask of your site visitors and what answers they can select from. Once they answer, their information is recorded so they can't stuff the ballot box.
• News Teasers: If you have any news pages, you can decide whether or not to show news teasers on your home page.
• Calendar: Scheduled events calendar with built in recurring event capability.
• Weather: You can choose to show local weather on your site. Visitors can also edit the zip code to determine the weather in any other place of their choosing.
• Guest Book: Add a simple guest book for your site visitors to sign. Site administrators will receive an email any time someone signs the guest book and can remove unwanted posts.
• Site Search: Add a handy site search so your visitors can easily find specific content on your site. They can select the number of matches to display and can decide whether to match an exact phrase, all words in the phrase or any words in the phrase.
• Site Map: Add a link to an easy to use site map so your visitors can quickly jump to the page they want and can see the entire site layout.

Other Available Features

We also offer some optional features at a nominal additional cost. Please see the pricing page for details. These include:

• Members Section: Build community on your site with this feature including an on-line and PDF printable directory, the ability to create groups and group leaders, a message center for sending messages to other members or groups, a live chat and message board. Perfect for Homeowner Associations and Non-Profits!
• Web Blog: Tell the world what you think and get their feedback with your own web blog. You have the option to allow html or plain text comments to your articles and you can approve them before they are posted. You can even add article submission links to digg it!, reddit!, del.ici.ous, StumbleUpon!, Newsvine, Hugg it! and Netscape News.
• E-Commerce: With or without a fully featured shopping cart. You can use PayPal at no additional cost, but secure server does have a small additional fee. You will need secure server to take credit cards on interactive forms or using the shopping cart system.
